Speed Darlington Regains Freedom From Police Custody
Detained controversial Nigerian Singer, Speed Darlington has regained freedom from the custody of the Nigerian Police.
Didactic Information Hut recalls that Speed Darlington was arrested on the alleged order of International Music Star, Burna Boy who had petitioned him for alleged Cyberbullying.
A lawyer, Deji Adeyanju after meeting conditions stipulated by police at the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team’s Department in the Guzape area of Abuja secured Speed Darlington’s release.
Adeyanju noted that after seeing the petition, there was nothing in the petition to warrant Darlington’s arrest.
“I have met Speed Darlington and he’s in good spirits, we are working to get him released on bail as soon as possible,” Adeyanju said on Tuesday.
Adeyanju added that a police ACP investigating the case told Him that the police could not release a copy of the petition to him but allowed Him to read and digest the content.
Speed Darlington’s Mother had raised the alarm that her son was missing and begged for his release.
