Context & Environment
- TotalEnergies is presently launching its activity in Nigeria and needs to onboard double specialty profiles (technical Sales / Project Manager) to support the Business Developer already working on projects offers in RSA and to achieve the projects the entity there will be awarded for.
Activities
HSE:
- Strict adherence and compliance towards Group QHSSE policy (including MAESTRO) with high Quality of QHSSE performance and complying with affiliate’s QHSSE Policy, Procedures & specific rules & regulations applicable to the area of activity at all times.
- Participate in the training program to acquire QHSSE knowledge and impart this training to colleagues as and when required by Management.
- Reporting of near misses, incidents, hazards & injuries to line Manager within the time frame as required by Quality, HSSE, Energy policies and Manuals.
- Participate in the investigation and analysis of incidents as and when required.
- Strict adherence to QHSSE requirements with full authority to stop any operation for safety reasons.
Project Development Support:
- Analyze EPCs and contractors offers in terms of quality, HSE, and cost
- Prepare and launch RFPs to contractors for awarded projects
- Shortlist and negotiate with contractors for awarded projectsÂ
- Prepare and update engineering tools and templatesÂ
- Coordinate with design team to prepare and follow-up local approvals and regulatory obligations.
- Liaise with HQ technical services for technical specifications use and continuous improvement and with remote engineering support when applicable.
As a Project Manager the following activities will be performed:
- Manage multiple projects execution at a time from EPC contract negotiation to hand over with focus on safety, security, quality, budget, planning and documentation management.
- Support and follow-up the permitting and Engineering team in local approvals and regulatory obligationsÂ
- Support & follow-up on-board suppliers including EPCs and engineering consultants, in full respect of HSE, Quality and compliance guidelines and specifications. Engage in commercial negotiations and maintain relationships, to ensure equipment and contractors are optimally and sustainably procured.Â
- Ensure strict adherence of projects design and material selection as per contractual requirements
- Ensure construction quality & safety by regular visits and reports
- Manage projects construction with focus on safety, quality, budget, and planning
- Coordinate with one or several contractors (EPC) + equipment suppliers the construction of the projects
- Ensure proper projects commissioning and testing of the plant as per contractual requirements and industry good practice
- Hand-over the projects to both O&M Team and Client in line with set contractual objectives
- Ensure the documentation management is up to the company requirements
- Engage in commercial negotiations and maintain relationships, to ensure equipment and contractors are optimally and sustainably procured
- Built strong Relationship with Client after proper handing over from sales/development team
Technical Sales Support:
- Conduct feasibility studies, preliminary solar designs, CAPEX/OPEX estimation and solar plant performance simulations.
- Assess site characteristics, constraints and analyze consumption demands of the customer during prospection phase.
- Prepare technical offers and presenting them to potential clients, support the sales team in the negotiation with clientsÂ
- Prepare internal CITS Dossiers and investment committee presentations
- Technical support and contribution to around 30MW awarded per year
Candidate Profile
- 3 years of experience related to design, construction, technical salesÂ
- Min. 5 years of projects management experience on solar projects.
- Experience in rooftop, ground-mount, carport, wheeling DG projectsÂ
- Experience in Low & medium Voltage POC project / Projects size up to 50 to 70 MWp
- Experience in hybrid solution with BESS solution would be very much appreciated
- Graduate from a premier university with a degree in engineering and/or electrical  Graduate degree and/or related professional qualifications considered as a plus.
- Experience with maintaining minimum functional specification, commissioning checklists, and standard operating practices for rooftop solar projects.
- Working experience of the RSA context in electrical norms, renewable energy regulations, construction codes, is required.
- Knowledge of project management good practices, engineering, and solar specific software such MS Project, AutoCAD, PVSyst, Meteonorm, SolarGIS, Helioscope, Sketchup, etc.

Job Title: Finance Officer
Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Summary
- The main contact person of the Finance Division in respect of internal control issues.
- Effective monitoring of fixed cost to ensure that expenditures are kept within approved budgetary provisions.
- Timely rendition of monthly reports to General Accounts unit of Final Account Department.
- Ensure Internal Controls are adhered to.
Responsibilities
Cash:
- Ensure timely replenishment of petty cash imprest to support the day-to-day petty cash expenses of the sales area.
- Post petty cash vouchers regularly and agree amount with general ledger balance.
- Regular monitoring of Budgets (Ibadan CSC, Ilorin CSC, and Training School) to ensure no foreign posting is made and no overrun.
- Monitoring of Cash advances and reporting to Head Office.
- Daily/Monthly monitoring and reporting of cash balances in the ledger.
Treasury:
- Regular posting of POS Reversals from bank reconciliation statements sent from Head Office daily and weekly.
- Correction of wrong posting in stations account with 200 transactions monthly
- Posting of debit/credit note document as approved for stations and GTEs with 200 DR/CR notes processed monthly
- Cancellation of invoices for CSC, as approved by Sales Admin Manager from CSM.
- Prompt lodgment of GTE’s customers cheques to our various banks with 20 lodgments monthly
Company Creditors:
- Check and approve PR for LPO/process vendors’ bill with PR of N5million monthly (USD12,000 monthly).
- Post through the Shared Service Centre (SSC) and send contractors invoices to Head Office (FAD) weekly for payment with 100Â invoices processed monthly.
- Post through the Shared Service Centre (SSC) and send staff claims monthly to Head Office (ERD) for payment with 150 vouchers processed monthly
- Monthly clearing of transporter balances to their respective Vendor Accounts for the Sales Area.
- Timely and Urgent processing of utility bills for the Sales Area.
Stock and Assets:
- Observe Stock taking monthly and key into SAP, report thereon to MARD for preparation of Variance report for VMS and owned depots.
- Observe stock taking exercise for spares, station consumables and report thereon to FAD.
- Ensure that extract of fixed assets register from the Head office agreed with physical inventory in the Sales Area.
Candidate Profile
- BSc / HND in Accounting or related degree with at least 3 years’ post graduate experience.
- Proficiency in the use of data analysis tools including Microsoft excel, power point & power Bi and SAP.
- Great communication, analytical and interpersonal skills is required.
Context & Environment:
- Ibadan Sales Area is generally peaceful with no attendant political disturbance.
- Ibadan Sales Area is geographical covered by majorly three South West States; Oyo, Kwara and Osun state.
- Financial records are maintained on a fully integrated on-line ERP i.e., SAP Activities
