Apply For 2024 HYPREP Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme
The Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP) has announced its 2024 post graduate scholarship for indigenes of the four Local Government Areas (Eleme, Gokana, Khana and Tai) that maek up the Ogoni ethnic nationality in Rivers State.
HYPREP said the Scholarship Scheme is a part of its mandate to restore the livelihood of Ogoni people folowing decades of environmental degradation by oil activities.
ELIGIBILITY
1. Applicant must be currently in a post graduate programme in a recognized university in Nigeria.
2. Applicant must be within the age of 20 to 45 years for Masters and 22 to 55 years for PhD.
3. Applicant must have all credentials ready with inclusion of Birth Certificate or Age declaration, LGA Identification letter, letter of attestation from Head of Department.
4. Applicant must be an Ogoni indigene from any of the four Local Government Areas (Eleme, Gokana, Khana and Tai)
5. Staff of HYPREP and Federal Ministry of Environment and their immediate family members need not to apply.
