Wike Denies Collapsing, Knocks Those Behind The Rumour
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, refuted claims on Thursday that he had collapsed the previous week.
Wike characterized these allegations as the work of “baseless” individuals attempting to gain cheap political advantage.
His comments came following an inspection of four ongoing projects in the FCT, which included the International Conference Centre (ICC).
Social media posts had suggested that the minister collapsed during an event on Friday in the FCT, with further claims that he was swiftly taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.
However, his media aide, Lere Olayinka, dismissed these assertions as untrue.
