The North Roars In Jubilation As Electricity is Restored

The troubling darkness over the Northern part of Nigeria has come to an end as electricity is finally restored to that part of the country.

Didactic Information Hut reports that the four states under the Jos Electricity Distribution franchise – Plateau, Bauchi, Gombe, and Benue had their electricity restored at approximately 7:20 pm. on Wednesday.

The return of electricity reportedly threw residents of Jos, Plateau capital, into jubilation.

Didactic Information Hut recalls that for the past 10 days, some states in the north had remained in darkness following the tripping of the 330kV transmission line between Benue and Enugu states.

The blackout had severe negative impact on lives and businesses in the north.
