Senator Okpebholo, Hon Idahosa Sworn in As Governor and Deputy
Senator Monday Okpebholo has been sworn in as the new Governor of Edo State. Also, Hon Dennis Idahosa was also sworn in as the deputy Governor.
The swearing in ceremony took place at the Samuel Egbemudia Stadium in Benin, the Edo State Capital.
The oath of office was administered on both OKbebholo and Hon Idahosa by the Edo State Chief Judge, Justice Daniel Okungbuwa
Senator Okpebholo of the APC had won the Edo State governorship election defeating the candidate of the PDP, Mr Asue Ighodalo.
The former governor, Godwin Obaseki was however absent at the event.
