Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has affirmed her commitment to returning to her constituency for the Sallah break, dismissing any notions of withdrawing from her plans.

She encouraged her supporters to disregard rumors suggesting that her visit has been canceled.

This announcement was made by her media team in a statement released on Tuesday.

This news follows the Kogi State Government’s recent prohibition of rallies and public gatherings due to purported security concerns.

Additionally, the government has halted fishing and other activities, citing incidents that led to the loss of two lives in Kasemiya, Katubo, and Umozu Ette, all located in the Kogi Local Government Area of Kogi West.

“Despite the online speculation, our office has not issued any official statement regarding the cancellation of this visit.

“We want to reassure the public that all necessary preparations are underway to ensure a successful and celebratory event. We invite all community members to participate in this significant occasion,” the statement read.
