Present 2025 Budget In 2 Days, Rivers Assembly Orders Gov Fubara
The Rivers State House of Assembly has ordered Governor Sim Fubara to within two days (48 hours) present the 2025 budget to the lawmakers.
The lawmakers said this during plenary presided over by the Speaker, Rt Hon Martin Amaewhule in Port Harcourt on Monday.
Earlier, there was a massive security presence at the Assembly Quarters in Port Harcourt prompting speculations.
This order comes few days after the Supreme Court ordered Amaewhule and other lawmakers to resume sitting following months of lingering political crises in the State.
