PDP Governors May Be Working For Tinubu For Opposing Coalition- Dele Momodu

Dele Momodu, the publisher of Ovation Magazine, has suggested that governors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who oppose the idea of forming a coalition ahead of the 2027 elections might be covertly supporting President Bola Tinubu.
In a statement released on Monday, the PDP governors dismissed the notion of merging or collaborating with any other political party in preparation for the upcoming elections.
Discussions have emerged regarding the potential for opposition parties to unite in a coalition to challenge the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming elections.
During an appearance on Arise Television on Monday, Momodu asserted that no single opposition party has the capability to unseat Tinubu in 2027 on its own.
He urged the opposition to come together and employ the same strategies that the APC utilized in their successful 2015 campaign.
“Opposition leaders are highly motivated to collaborate this time. The reality is that Atiku cannot succeed alone, nor can Peter Obi or Rabiu Kwankwanso,” Momodu stated.
“Therefore, they must devise a strategy to retaliate against the APC by attempting to unite a significant portion of all parties, including the APC itself.
“If our governors are declaring their unwillingness to enter into a coalition, it suggests that they may be indirectly supporting a Tinubu presidency.
“History teaches us that a bully only respects another bully, yet we are all acting timidly. Any mention of the EFCC or threats of arrest sends people into a panic.
“Any governor, senator, or house member who contemplates switching allegiance may find themselves in dire straits.”
