NNPC Increases Fuel Price In Lagos, Abuja

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) has again raised the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly called fuel/petrol in Lagos and Abuja.
The price increase which is the second in October was noticed on Tuesday.
Didactic Information Hut recalls that the NNPC had raised the fuel price to N998 per liter on October 3 from N855 per liter set in September.
But observed pump price at the NNPC retail outlet at Ago Palace Way, Okota, Lagos, showed that the price of PMS was raised to N1,025 per liter.
Also in the Kubwa area of Abuja, NNPC’s retail fuel station was selling at the new price of N1,050 per liter.
Meanwhile, other private fueling stations such as Mobil, Rain Oil, and AA.Rano have also adjusted their prices; Rano also adjusted its price from N1,100 to N1,250 per liter.
This recent price hike is coming more than a month after NNPC began lifting fuel products at the Dangote Refinery gantry after lengthy price negotiations.
