National Assembly Approves Tinubu’s State of Emergency Declaration In Rivers

The House of Representatives and the Senate (National Assembly) on Thursday approved the declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State by President Bola Tinubu.

In a separate controversial circumstances both Senate President, Godswill Akpabio and Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, said the President’s action has been approved.

Meanwhile, condemnations have continued to soar about the emergency rule declaration of President Tinubu in Rivers State.

Meanwhile, the new sole administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas has arrived and taken over the leadership of the State.
