My Company Generates 5% of Nigeria’s Electricity – Davido’s Father

Adedeji Adeleke, Father of popular Music Star, Davido, has claimed that his Company generates 15 per cent of Nigeria’s electricity.
The billionaire businessman said this while speaking at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church’s General Conference Annual Council 2024 on Tuesday.
“I’m in the electricity business, I own power plants. I generate about 15 per cent of Nigeria’s electricity. I’ve Chinese engineering companies that work for me. I am building the biggest thermal power plant in Nigeria to be launched in January 2025. It’s a 1250MW power plant,” he said.
Didactic Information Hut recalls that Davido had earlier claimed that his family was responsible for distributing electricity to a major portion of Nigeria. In the American podcast, ‘Business Untitled’, Davido had boasted that his family owns four power plants, which makes sigunificant contribution to Nigeria’s energy needs.
