More Troubles For Gov Fubara As 2 RSIEC Commissioners Resign

More troubles seem to be heading the way and camp of the Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara as the political crises in the state lingers.
The latest is the resignation of two commissioners of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC).
Their resignation is coming after an invitation from the Rivers State House of Assembly with a 48 hours ultimatum over unapproved spendings by RSIEC.
Although neither the Chairman nor the Commissioners honoured the invitation, the Assembly further extended the ultimatum.
Meanwhile, RSIEC in obedience to the Supreme Court judgment nullifying the local council election has fixed another election for 9th August, 2025.
Didactic Information Hut reports that those who resigned from the Commission include Dr Lazbery Nyebuchi Nnah and Prof Simeon Emenike Weli.
The resignation had drawn mixed reactions with huge political undertune.
