Juventus has decided not to pursue the signing of Victor Osimhen from Napoli, who has been linked with Manchester United, and has instead focused on Atalanta’s standout player, Ademola Lookman.

As reported by Tuttosport, Juventus has abandoned its interest in acquiring Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray, and is now considering Lookman as a potential target. The club is actively seeking to secure a new striker this summer, with indications from Italy suggesting that they intend to part ways with Dusan Vlahovic.

Osimhen, whose contract with Napoli runs until 2027, has been a name of interest for the Bianconeri. However, Napoli is resolute in its decision not to sell the forward to any Italian club, particularly Juventus, due to concerns about a repeat of the Gonzalo Higuain situation.

Additionally, the absence of a release clause complicates the transfer, as the €70 million clause is only applicable to foreign clubs. Napoli’s sporting director, Giovanni Manna, is currently in discussions with Manchester United regarding a possible sale, which may also facilitate Rasmus Hojlund’s transfer to Napoli.
