Indian Prime Minister To Visit President Tinubu in Abuja
Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is to visit President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja Sunday, November 17, 2024.
A statement by Tinubu’s spokesman, Bayo Onanuga said the Prime Minister is scheduled to arrive in Nigeria on Saturday.
His visit to Nigeria will be the first by an Indian prime minister since Dr Manmohan Singh’s state visit in 2007 when the two nations established a strategic partnership.
Onanuga added that President Tinubu and Prime Minister Modi will have further talks on how to strengthen Nigeria and India’s ties.
He said both leaders will exchange signed Memoranda of Understanding, MoUs to enhance collaboration in critical sectors.
