Former PDP Guber Candidate In Lagos, Jandor, Returns To APC

Former Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, commonly referred to as Jandor, has officially rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
At a press conference held in Ikeja, Lagos, Jandor announced his resignation from the PDP, along with his Lagos4Lagos Movement.
He stated that his return to the APC was motivated by his commitment to advancing the development of Lagos State and his conviction that unity among progressive factions is crucial for fulfilling the collective goals of the populace.
Jandor elaborated that his involvement with the PDP during the 2023 gubernatorial election stemmed from a genuine intention to secure victory for the party and serve the residents of Lagos State.
Nevertheless, he emphasized that aligning with the APC provides a more effective platform to fulfill his commitments to good governance for all citizens of Lagos.
He expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, and Seyi Tinubu, the President’s son, for their support in facilitating his transition back to the APC.
The former PDP candidate reassured his supporters that his decision was made with the best interests of Lagos in mind, encouraging them to join him in this new phase as they collaborate to create a Lagos that benefits everyone.
