Five Mini LNG Plants Launched By NNPCL
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) on Thursday launched five liquefied natural gas (LNG) mini-plants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State.
The five mini LNG Plans included PRIME LNG, NGML/Gasnexus LNG, BUA LNG, Highland LNG and LNG Arete and are already in operation at Ajaokuta.
These plants will be fed by natural gas from the natural gas pipeline already laid to Ajaokuta.
The main pipeline that will feed the mini-plants is the AKK pipeline (Ajaokuta-Kano-Kaduna gas pipeline), which is under construction by the federal government.
These plants will supply gas to areas currently without gas infrastructure.
