Edo State: Pius Odubu Heads APC Transition Committee
The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Edo State has appointed a former deputy governor of the state, Pius Odubu, to head transition committee to work with a team from the Edo State government ahead of next month’s inauguration of the governor-elect Monday Okpebholo and deputy governor-elect, Dennis Idahosa.
Notice of the membership of the committee was provided in a letter the state chairman of the APC Jarrett Tenebe who wrote in response to a letter the party received from the governor of Edo state Godwin Obaseki.
Didactic Information Hut reports that other members of the Committee include Matthew Urhoghide, Osagie Ize-lyamu, Andrew ]Enwanta, Washington Osifo, Nosa Adams, Omosede Igbinedion, Paul Ohonbamu, Edo Omorogieva, Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe, Taiwo Akerele, Godwin Eshieshie, Yakson Musa
Also included on the list are Kazeem Afegbua, Ohio Omo-Ezomo, Gani Audu, Dr. Aminu Imafidon, Prof Oyaziwo Aluede, Prof. Eunice Omonzejie, Matthew Egbadon, Dr.Tony Ikpasaja, Felix Akhabue, Kingsley Ehigiamusor and Dr. Frank Omoh.
Recall that Gov Godwin Obaseki in a letter by the SSG has urged the APC and the Governor-elect to appoint members of his transition committee to ensure a smooth hand over of government.
