Chelle Promises To Get Super Eagles To 2026 World Cup
Nigeria’s new coach Eric Chelle promised Monday that he will score goals to qualify for the 2026 World Cup. The 47-year-old has signed a two-year contract that is contingent on Nigeria qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Speaking at the official launch in Abuja, Chelle promised to play attacking soccer to qualify for next year’s World Cup. ‘I always love scoring goals. My team is never short of goals and I promise you that the Super Eagles are no different,” said Chelle. ‘Soccer is about scoring goals, and I prefer an attacking style. I know what the Nigerian people expect from me, and I will work with my assistants to remain calm and sincere in our goal of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
