BREAKING: Port Harcourt Refinery Begins Processing of Crude Oil

The Port Harcourt Refinery in Rivers State has reportedly commenced processing of crude oil.
This is coming after years of commencement postponement and condemnations from Nigerians who believe the commencement of local refineries will lower the current high price of petroleum products.
The eventual commencement of the Port Harcourt Refinery was confirmed by Chief Corporate Communications Officer of the Nigeria National Petroluem Company Limited (NNPCL) Olufemi Soneye.
He said the refinery will operate at 60 percent capacity and will process 60,000bpd.
Nigerians are hoping that this will increase availability of petroleum products and also enhance affordability.
