Manchester United have sacked its Manager, Erik ten Hag. This may not be unconnected to the club’s poor start to the season.

Didactic Information Hut recalls that Manchester United had lost to West Ham on Sunday,  leaving the club 14th in the Premier League with just three wins from their opening nine matches.

Ten Hag’s assistant, Ruud van Nistelrooy, has been named as interim manager.

According to the club, Van Nistelrooy would be in charge “while a permanent head coach is recruited”.

Ten Hag is believed to have overseen United’s second worst start to a Premier League campaign.

After Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013, Manchester United is now in the race for her sixth permanent manager.
