BREAKING: Lucky Aiyedatiwa Sworn In For A New Tenure In Ondo State
Lucky Aiyedatiwa has officially assumed the role of governor of Ondo State, initiating his first complete four-year term following the passing of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu in 2023.
The inauguration ceremony was held on Monday at the Ondo State Sports Complex in Akure, the capital of the state, occurring two months after Aiyedatiwa’s victory in the governorship election as a candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He took the oath of office shortly after his running mate, Olayide Adelami, at approximately 12:59 pm.
Following the ceremony, the governor paraded in an open vehicle around the complex, greeting enthusiastic supporters.
This inauguration finalizes the succession process in the Sunshine State, with Aiyedatiwa poised to lead the upcoming administration over the next four years.
