BREAKING: Gov Fubara Sacks CTC Chairman Of Akuku-Toru LGA
Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara has suspended Hon. Barrister Otonye Briggs from office as the Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of Akuku-Toru local government area.
Didactic Information Hut reports that Hon. Bitebobo Nelson Amieye has been appointed as the new CTC Chairman.
The Governor also ordered Mr Briggs to promptly hand over all council assets to his successor.
The reason for the sack was not disclosed as at press time.
The local government election in Rivers State is to take place on 5th October, 2024.
