The former President of the Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide, Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, has threatened that if Gov Sim Fubara of Rivers State is removed from office that “something will happen”.

Dokubo, a former Niger Delta Militant Leader stated this on Tuesday in an interview on Arise Television.

He expressed disappointment at President Bola Tinubu for allowing his Minister, Nyesom Wike to be causing the lingering political crises in Rivers State.

Alhaji Dokubo who is supporting Gov Fubara as an Ijaw Man failed to be specific about what exactly will happen.

But Didactic Information Hut recalls that Gov Fubara’s godfather, Nyesom Wike who has recently been having a soured relationship with his godson had vowed never to render political support to Him (Fubara) and has ruled out any possible reconciliation between them.

Also, embattled majority lawmakers at the Rivers State House of Assembly loyal to Mr Wike had earlier attempted to impeach Gov Fubara, a plot they have seemingly returned to as the reconciliation attempt by President Tinubu failed.
