Another Assassination Attempt As Gunshots Are Fired At Trump’s Vicinity
Republican Candidate, Donald Trump had reportedly suffered another assassination attempt. This follows an incident on Sunday in which gunshots were fired into his Golf Course vicinity.
A short statement from Trump’s Campaign Spokesman, Steven Cheung, said “President Trump is safe following gunshots in his vicinity. No further details at this time”.
The New York Post has earlier reported that two people exchanged gunfire outside the former president’s golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The news outlet added that the gunfine was not “targeting Trump”.
Didactic Information Hut gathered that Trump was golfing at the resort on Sunday, which is a short distance from his main residence, Mar-a-Lago.
Recall that this incident is coming just two months after an assassination attempt on the former American President.
In the earlier incident, Gunman, Thomas Crooks, fired multiple shots at Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13. One bullet grazed the ex-president’s ear.
Meanwhile, some reactions trailing this purported attack on Trump has described it as just another stunt to solicit sympathy supports from Americans ahead of the tensed elections coming up in November.
