39 Released Minors Receive N100,000 And Smartphones From Gov Sani

About 39 released minors from Kaduna State, who were detained by the Federal Government due to their participation in the August 2024 nationwide protests, have been reunited with their families on Wednesday with a gift of N100,000 and an Itel A18s smartphone by Gov Uba Sani.
Governor Uba Sani who was represented by Dr. Abdulkadir Muazu Meyere, Secretary to the Kaduna State Government promised to empower the children as they reintegrate into society, providing rehabilitation and opportunities to become responsible citizens.
Dr. Meyere also said that the governor would offer start-up capital, skills training, and employment to eligible recipients.
“The Governor promised that some of them will receive start-up capital for trading, others will receive skills training, and some will be offered employment,” Meyere said.
Didactic Information Hut recalls that over 70 minors who were arrested and arraigned for joining the recent hunger protest were later released after a public outcry.
