2027: PDP Can Only Win With Either Jonathan or Saraki – Primate Ayodele
INRI Evangelical Church leader, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Monday advised the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to persuade former President Goodluck Jonathan and former Senate President Bukola Saraki to run for president if they want to win in 2027.
Primate Ayodele made it clear that former PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar is not the party’s answer, adding that if he is allowed to run again, the PDP will ultimately be “buried.”
In a statement he signed, he said all Atiku can do is support a good candidate, and that Jonathan is the best choice at this time if the PDP wants to win in 2027.
He advised that if Jonathan could join hands with Bukola Saraki with the support of the opposition coalition, it would be a great opportunity for the PDP.
According to Primate Ayodele, “If the PDP wants to come close to victory, it should convince Goodluck Jonathan to come out of his slumber and let him contest under the party. ‘Atiku is not the PDP’s answer and if he runs again, it will be the PDP’s final burial. He does not have the power to unseat Tinubu. ‘All I can advise Atiku is to support a good candidate and that the best option for the PDP right now is Goodluck Jonathan. I have said before that he should not run for office, but as it stands, he is the only one who can assist in the final burial of the PDP. If he joins hands with Saraki and the opposition coalition, the PDP could win.”
Primate Ayodele revealed that Jonathan is frightened. He revealed that Jonathan is scared. If Jonathan had the determination, he would be able to do all of this, but he is scared. The fear of the unknown is haunting Jonathan, and if the PDP can convince him and give him the necessary backing, Jonathan will be able to contribute to the survival of the party.”
Primate Ayodele further explained that if Jonathan does not run and an opposition coalition is not formed, President Tinubu will remain president of Nigeria. He continued by saying that the person who could remove President Tinubu would be desperate, economically stable, unjust, fearless, and rugged, and assured that the 2027 elections are not for the lazy, but for those who know what they want and are prepared to pursue it to the end.
He further said that the 2027 elections are not for the lazy. If this does not happen, no party will want to defeat Tinubu,” he said. The only person who will win against Tinubu must be financially stable, mentally inclined, desperate, and not a justice-seeker. The election will choose a man who is prepared for anything, fearless, rugged, utterly serious, has a good past record, and is not afraid to waste money. ‘The elections of 2027 are not for those who wield justice. Those who want to win must be ready to face anything and always be ready to listen to God’s instructions. ‘This is not an election for the lazy, but for the strong-willed. We must also be ready to accept lies and truth together. Tinubu is too strong to be brushed aside.
