The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele on Tuesday has warned opposition political parties that without forming a coalition, President Bola Tinubu cannot be defeated in 2027.
Prophet Ayodele who made this known in a statement by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, called on major opposition parties like Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Labour Party, LP, and New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, to unite if not their independent efforts to win the 2027 election would be futile.
The prophet advised that the opposition political parties need to come together and field a candidate that is rugged and has the capacity or else, it will be a smooth ride for Tinubu in 2027.
Ayodele said: “If PDP, Labour, NNPP don’t unite to form a coalition and propose one rugged and solid candidate for the 2027 presidential election, they won’t be able to unseat President Tinubu.
“It will be a smooth ride for the president in 2027 except there is a strong coalition from the major political parties.”
The Cleric dismissed the chances of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and any sitting governor in the PDP, saying they lack the capacity to become President in 2027.
“If PDP decides to field Atiku, it will be a disaster, they will lose the election. If PDP wants to stand alone, they will run into debt and as it stands, there is no sitting governor that has the capacity to become president in PDP, They are not strong enough.”
