Kwankwaso, Duke Visit Former President Obasanjo
The Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, in the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria, Engr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and a former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke have paid a visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Kwankwaso, who is also a former Governor of Kano State disclosed this via his X handle.
In the post he said they discussed issues bothering on politics and National Interest.
“I was pleased to be in company of my friend, HE Donald Duke and other associates to pay a courtesy call on President Olusegun Obasanjo at his residence in Abeokuta.
Deliberations on significant national issues, including the future of politics and governance in Nigeria defined the conversation.

The visit may not be unconnected to the 2027 elections and plan by opposition leaders to dislodge the APC Government under President Bola Tinubu.
