Kidnappers Release Popular Christian Music Composer, Dr Jude Nnam

Dr Jude Nnam, a well-known Christian music composer who was abducted, has been released.

While attending a church function in Umunnachi, Anambra State, on Thursday evening, November 14, at approximately 6 p.m., Nnam was abducted.

Nnam spent almost a week in the kidnappers’ den before being freed on Wednesday, November 20, according to Didactic Information Hut.

In an announcement on the musician’s Facebook page, his family said he was freed.

“The sound of victory has arrived. Dr. Jude Nnam, our beloved “Ancestor,” has returned to carry on the Lord’s work! The post was read.

The family had previously characterized the social media message that Nnam was freed by his captors as untrue and deceptive.

Later on, Dr Nnam in a post also confirmed his release.

“I want to expresses my heartfelt gratitude for your prayers during my ordeal. To thank God for me , please sing any of these songs during mass on Sun 24/11/24 and pray for others in the same situation.

Nnam, also called “Ancestor,” is a member of the National Liturgical Commission of the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria (CSN) and the National Music Director for the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
