FG Declares March 31, April 1 As Public Holidays For Eid-el-Fitr

On Wednesday, the Federal Government announced that Monday, March 31, and Tuesday, April 1, will be observed as public holidays in celebration of the 2025 Eid-el-Fitr.
This announcement was made by the Minister of the Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on behalf of the Federal Government.
He extended his congratulations to the Muslim community for successfully completing the Ramadan fast.
Dr. Tunji-Ojo encouraged all Muslims to embody the principles of self-discipline, compassion, generosity, and peace, highlighting the significance of love, forgiveness, and unity in fostering a harmonious society.
In a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, the Minister called on Nigerians to take this festive occasion as an opportunity to pray for the nation’s peace, stability, and prosperity.
