Raising Immoralities: Hisbah Bans Nightclubs In Katsina

The Katsina State Hisbah Board has prohibited all nightclub operations throughout the state, referencing Islamic tenets and the necessity of maintaining moral standards.
Dr. Aminu Usman, the Hisbah Commander-General, made this announcement in a statement released in Katsina on Wednesday.
He emphasized that nightclub proprietors are required to close their venues to mitigate immoral activities, safeguard societal values, and address security issues within the state.
“The board has cautioned that those who disregard this directive will face severe consequences. Security forces have been directed to guarantee complete adherence to this order.
“Our commitment lies in fostering a morally sound society and ensuring peace and security in Katsina State,” Usman remarked.
He confirmed that the board has communicated with pertinent security agencies, including the state Commissioner for Internal Security, to ensure the effective implementation of this directive.
“This initiative is part of Hisbah’s wider mission to enable residents to lead their lives in accordance with religious and ethical principles,” he added.
