Policeman Attached To Hon. Ginger Onwusibe Killed In Umuahia

A policeman attached to the member representing Isialangwa North and South Federal Constituency of Abia State, Hon. Ginger Onwusibe has been shot dead by unknown gunmen.

Didactic Information Hut gathered that the incident happened around 9pm at Ubakala Umuahia South.

A police source privy to the incident said the gunmen dressed in black and wearing police-style armor jackets blocked the convoy of the Hon Ginger with a Toyota Corolla and opened fire on the escorts after they identified themselves as police officers. Sadly, one Policeman died while the other and the driver were fattally injured.

By the time the police station at Ubakala responded with gunfire, the gunmen had fled the scene.

Didactic Information Hut reports that Hon Ginger was not in the vehicle when the incident happened.
