Tinubu Appoints 7 New Ministers, 1 Special Adviser

After Sacking five members of his cabinet, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed seven new ministers and one special adviser.

Didactic Information Hut reports that the new appointees include Ambassador Bianca Odimegwu Ojukwu, widow of the late Ikemba of Nnewi, Sir Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Jumoke Oduwole, ex-Executive Secretary to the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council, as Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Muhammadu Maigari
Dingyadi, Minister of Labour & Employment, Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Minister of Livestock Development, Rt.Hon.Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development and Dr Suwaiba Said Ahmad, Minister of State
Education.

Similarly, Sunday Dare, a former Minister of Sports, was also appointed as Special Adviser to the President on Public Communication and Orientation.

The president charged the newly appointed cabinet members to see their appointments as a call to serve the nation.

He further said that all appointees must understand the administration’s eagerness and determination to set Nigeria on the path to irreversible growth and invest the best of their abilities into the actualisation of the government’s priorities.
