Again PDP Postpones NEC Meeting, Sets New Date

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has again announced the postponement of its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.

Didactic Information Hut reports that the NEC Meeting which was initially scheduled for October 24, 2024, has now been shifted to November 28, 2024.

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State and Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum disclosed this after a stakeholders’ meeting on Tuesday night.

The NEC meeting is believed to be an avenue to address the party’s internal crises and appoint a new acting National Chairman.

The meeting was attended by Acting National Chairman Iliya Damagum, members of the Party’s Board of Trustees, and the National Working Committee (NWC).

The reason for the postponement, Mohammed said is to allow the party to focus on the Ondo Gubernatorial election, scheduled for November 16, 2024.
